Our Ultra-Premium Tequila Collection

Our Traditional Tequila-Making Process

Esquisito is handcrafted at NOM 1414 in Jalisco by Maestro Tequilero Sergio Cruz, where time-honored technique meets almost obsessive attention to detail. From the way the agave is crushed and fermented to the music in the cellar and the barrels we choose, every step is designed to create a tequila with soul, depth, and character.

About Esquisito – Among the Finest Ultra Premium Tequila Brands

At Esquisito Tequila, we pride ourselves in the art of creating Ultra Premium Tequila. We understand that making tequila requires careful consideration of many variables, and that's why we take a unique approach to crafting our product.

Our tequila-making process starts with using only the finest quality 6-year-old Blue Weber Agave, grown in our very own fields in Arandas, Jalisco. We believe in only using the heart of the agave, known as "El Corazon de la Piña," which is the best part of the plant and ensures a superior product.

We also use traditional and artisanal methods for our tequila, such as cooking the agave in brick ovens instead of industrial ovens. This process brings out the natural sugars and flavors, resulting in a premium tequila with great taste.

Frequently Asked Questions About Ultra-Premium Tequila

What makes it different?

Our unique process starts with using Agave that is very high in Brix (meaning the sugar levels are much higher given it comes from the highlands of Jalisco). The agave is then slow cooked in masonry ovens and then milled to extract the sugars.

The fermentation is done with champagne yeast, and then double distilled in copper pot stills giving it a sweet and smooth finish. Finally our Tequila is aged in barrels of Jack Daniel’s whiskey barrels which make our Tequila absolutely Exquisite, therefore our name Esquisito Tequila.

Where is it made?

Our Tequila is made in Arandas, Jalisco from agave grown in Los Altos de Jalisco known for its rich minerals, red-colored earth and perfect climate conditions. It's made at the Viva Mexico distillery, NOM 1414 which is one of the best Distilleries in Mexico. It's crafted by the highly awarded Maestro Tequilero Sergio Cruz.
